East a 1/4 mi. from interstate, right on Gilbertville Rd. 1/2 mi. on right follow signs. Accommodations: Camping on Site. Days Inn 319-235-1111 Entry Fee: $30- 1event, $35- 2+ events, $30 team fee Entry Deadline: 9/9/2009 (Wednesday night before tourney) Site Fee: $5 due at entry to site for everyone that will be camping (including non-skiers) Schedule of Events: tentatively Sat: WS, MS, WT, MT Sun: WJ, MJ Start Time: 7:30 am both days *Sunday events may start on Saturday or Saturday events may be pushed to Sunday depending on time. Cyclone Skifest Information |

We will be pulling practice on Friday afternoon from 3:00pm till dark. The cost will be $10 per set of 6 passes or 4 jumps. Also, we will NOT be staying at the lake. We will be camping at Seven Oaks Rec area in Boone, IA. This is a private camping area, not a state park. It is about a 25 minute drive from the lake, so keep that in mind for the 7:30am start time on Saturday. There will be a $10 dollar charge per person for camping, skier or not. I will be doing Registration Friday night, so please have your stuff with you at the campground. When you register, I will show you your running order and you will have the option to make slight changes at that time. After Friday night there will be no changes to running order!! The registration fee will be $35 for two or three events, and $30 for one event. $25 per team. You are welcome to come to the lake Friday afternoon, and you can leave some equipment there so you don’t have to take it to the campsite. The running order will be as follows: Saturday: Jump Lake – WAJ, WBJ, MBJ, MBT, WBT Slalom Lake – MAS, MAT, WAT, WBS Sunday: Jump Lake – MAJ Slalom Lake – WAS, MBS, remaining B events Keep in mind that this order can change at any time. Take the US 69-Duff Ave. Exit 148 and head South(left).Go south for about 10 miles and take left on 300th St. 2 miles to site. From Des Moines: I-35 to exit #102, west to 560th Ave (at church), right (North) 2.5 miles. From the lake to the campsite: The address is 1086 222nd Dr., Boone, IA for you mapquesters out there. Head back to US 69 and go North until you hit highway 30. Take Hwy 30 west towards Boone. Go about 16 miles and Turn LEFT onto L AVE / CR-R18. Then Turn RIGHT onto 222ND DR. Follow that up the hill and look for the signs. |
